Engaging Particularities XXIII: Contemplating Creatures

Our theological traditions emerge from our experiences of being in the world and seeking an ultimate reality within it or beyond it. Our prayers are performed with our bodies and the world in which we pray inspires religious awe. What does it mean to be a creature who contemplates? How do we contemplate creaturehood? How does creation inform contemplation?
This conference seeks a dialogue on comparative contemplative theology and its intersection with the theology of creation.
We welcome papers on all aspects of contemplative theology and theology of creation, and welcome papers in other areas of comparative theology as well.
